It's been a while..

Dear Chummy,

It's been about four weeks since either of us have posted anything and I am well aware it's Monday not Sunday however things are better late than never am I right ;). Ok so whats been going on since you went back home? Hmm the answer is absolutely nothing, I am back to my boring friendless life which is definitely not fun, all I have been doing is working. I am on arts and crafts now and its not going too badly I guess although I still hate it, people ask me so much stuff and I literally have no idea what planet they are from. All i've managed to do is send people the wrong way for stuff and help a lady swap some felt things so she didn't have to buy 2 packs which I would definitely be fired for if they found out so shhh. (Shit I'm scared that they have me on cctv now or something omg) We'll worry about that if it happens. Hows work for you?

I miss you so much its really sad, I literally don't know what to do with myself, I have nobody to share chocolate fingers with, nobody to go on windy bike rides with, nobody to listen to taylor with, nobody to take horrendous selfies with, nobody to fall asleep with harry potter background noise to, nobody to make fun of Leo with, and nobody to make fun summer plans with. It's horrible, come back be here.

Although I am super excited for our trip away to Cologne and Amsterdam seeing Taylor three times if we can its going to be the best trip ever with my favourite people ever. I found a few things we could do in each place if there is anything you can find to add thats cool too (suppose it gives you a post idea for next time ;))..

I am also very excited about our amazing sounding costumes for the 1989 tour! I hope we get to meet Taylor, I mean my life would honestly be made! Me and Jess are going to the shop to see about them on Saturday but i'll save that for the next post ;)

Omg!! I almost forgot, next month I'm booking T in the park! That is going to be AMAZING! jvhjsghfjdsg! The line up looks pretty good, I hope the bands I want to see don't clash that would be the worst but I'm sure it'll be ok! The whole vibe is just so fun! Yay summer plans make me so happy! (not that i have asked work for the time off yet, if they say no i'll phone in sick I have it all planned out) Get listening to peoples new albums ready for it, Das what I'm doing right now… The Wombats new album is so great, I think you'll like it! And festivals are a great opportunity for tumblry friendship photos ;) This means I need to go summer clothes shopping, not that I have money but oh well.

you've been asleep for about a week

Dear Chummy,

We're having separate conversations within the titles, its bloody fantastic, the Hannah Montana lyrics being my fave. Talking of Hannah Montana; throw back to downloading all of her albums on Jayden's dad's spotify and posting it to his Facebook *insert evil laugh* When you're here we need to make a really cheesy playlist so we can move the furniture and have a cheesy dance party, I'm looking forward to it. I would have said its my birthday in exactly a week but I'm a day late posting however as you nicely put it everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days.

Wow sounds like you've been super busy, your photos look great I love them! I want to go on long walks actually I fancy going on a hike, how about it? Work looks like so much fun, I'm glad you're enjoying it and I'm not jealous at all, ok I lied Im so jealous like unbelievably jealous I can't wait to meet your new friends and learn all the Aussie lingo. My work on the hand has been extremely boring and annoying and I hate it and all one of the managers does is moan at me ugh. Enough negativity - we don't need that!

Ok so you know how I said I had a brilliant idea for the next post, well seen as we're no longer leaving the shitty country my long list of things you'll need to remember for our trip otherwise you'll go insane has gone out the window. Not to worry *switches creative side of the brain on* While we wait for that side of my brain to wake up, friendly reminder that we seriously need to think about flights and accommodation for Amsterdam we don't want to be in this situation again now do we… Got it, its not creative but its a new and improved list;

long (or not so long) list of alternative things to do now that we're not going away;

- hiking at the lake district and take cute tumblry hiking selfies for the night.
- go to london for the day and visit the free museums
- stay in oxford (theres actually loads of free museums and stuff to do there too)
- bike rides
- coffee with jess
- re create taylor swift and friends photos (yes lets do that anyway) i.e.;

- last but not least… think of more ideas.

Did you see the photo booth Abi ( Taylor's best friend) had for her birthday? I want to do something like that but one, I don't have that many friends and two, I no longer have the trusty pink box of dressing up stuff because mice ate it, gross, they didn't eat the glasses though so if you have any funky hats and stuff bring them with you.

Since finishing Pretty Little Lairs I kinda feel lost, like I've started watching another series but I don't think anything will ever be as good as that was wow random I know but it makes me sad and I thought it was worth mentioning, do you know what I mean? I didn't cry like I did with The Vampire Dairies though haha! We'll have to find something else to watch, something so exciting and interesting that I don't want to stop watching, I love that kind of Tv.

Anyway this post is much longer than the previous ones considering I've done less in the past week than before, whatever i'll leave it here. I can't wait to see you on Thursday, if Phill picks you up in the morning you can come pick me up from work on your way back and see me doing absolutely nothing, or I'll go with Phill to pick you up when I've finished, either either (spelt the same, said differently)! See you soon yaaaaaaaaaaaaay :)

What day is it??

Dear Chummy, 

Like my last post, I'm starting this one by saying how busy I have been! I started work properly last week and boy was it fun! The late nights are really getting to me though, the amount of times I've legitimately completely forgotten what day of the week it is, haha. My first few shifts were also really scary, but I feel like I've picked it up really quickly! I find that it's a lot easier when it's busier.. I mean you have no time to think about what you're doing and you're just doing it, ya know? When it's quiet you start thinking shit, what if I mess this up? They're watching me! I also feel more pressured when people are shouting my name.. I get that a lot! And if it's not my name, it's Taylor Swift's name because apparently I look like her?! Cocktails are actually really fun to make.. I think I'm good at them, apart from when I get the glass stuck and bruise my hand trying to separate them! (another thing that's horrible when there are people watching me! - I'm so weak ahh). I think the best thing about where I work is definitely the people.. ah I love them so much! They say loads of cool things, in really cool accents and they're so much fun! They have so many stories to tell about places they've been and things that have happened, it makes me feel really boring! I feel like I have a little Aussie family, I literally can't wait for you to meet them :) :)

Even though I haven't worked for four nights, I've been asked if I wanna go out every single night, it's so nice aha.. I went out on Monday to this place called Mr Wolfs, I think you'd like it there. The music was so different! It was like bluesy, jazzy stuff like Elvis Presley and that Hit The Road Jack song it was so much fun. 

Since the last time I posted, I went on a really nice walk with Alex and Wez, #TeamCulture. We waited for the bus for like an hour but it didn't come so we decided to walk up to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. When the bus did come, it got stuck in traffic and we overtook it walking anyway so it wasn't all bad aha. We had a few drinks at a really nice (but pricy) pub there and then got fish and chips on the way home.  

 

 

The next day, I went to Nan's with Mum and Evan which was also really fun! We sang Taylor Swift in the car and had dinner in a little pub by the harbour and on Sunday we walked along The Hoe with ice cream before driving back here and having dinner out again! I love little trips away, even if it's just one night. It's so exciting, especially if it's last minute! Speaking of such things, I literally cannot wait to go away! I really hope Jess and Jasmine can come - I'll be really sad if they don't, it all seems so perfect right now. I also can't wait to get matching tattoos, they're going to be so cute.. do we need to book those? I'm hoping I can afford it (lol). 

I guess with the spontaneous holiday, tattoos and the culture-filled walks, maybe I am as interesting as the people I work with?? Nah, still not close!

DUDE! Can you believe it's April already?? How quick has the last year gone!! You've been living in your house nearly a year now, that's crazy! It's not even January but I feel like I need to do a recap of all the things that have happened in the last year..

(I said I feel like it, I won't actually do it though.. gunna save that for another post!)

Before writing this post, I read this one Matt and Bro Orange. It is really long, but it's a reallly good story, I loved it! Really inspiring actually and the videos in it made me want to make some when we go away, I kinda really want to vlog but that's scary ahaha. Let's just take lots of really artsy photos that we can post on here :) We can get some printed too and put them in our travel scrapbook (that's upside down and back to front!) we could also go to the travel agents and find a brochure on wherever we end up going! 

The flat is so quiet with everyone gone, but I don't really mind. There's lots of things I can do now, like singing as loud as I want, and walking round in my underwear, peeing with the door open and making as much mess as I want. Alex is back tomorrow though so I won't be able to do that :( He wants to use my room for his friends but no way, Jose! Like I probably could let him and just sleep at Walkies but it's my bed man (and he left me to tidy everything up) :((.

This is a really long post, I don't apologise.. I like how it makes up for the fact I forgot Wednesdays even exist last week and also how your posts have been short recently ahahaha. 

OH! I have a really really really good idea for your birthday present (YAY) I know you're going to love it! It might even be on time, but I know it doesn't matter if it's not so no pressure on me, yipee!

I'm going to leave the post here, and like before maybe even fill in the space from last Wednesday just because I have an idea.

No post on sundays - hp

Dear Chummy,

Ok so I am very aware that its not sunday, Olivia actually reminded me that I hadn't posted so I'm typing before I go to work while I'm watching the music channel. I haven't done much this week just the usual work and watch Tv and yeah pretty boring to be honest. I did finish Pretty Little Lairs and like you predicted, I am very much annoyed at it. Like they have this random character that nobody has ever heard of, well season 6 has a lot of explaining to do although I think he's twins with Jason.

You'll be here soon omg yay I can't wait to see you its been far too long. I hate that we have to go months without seeing each other its not fair. That never used to happen, not even when I went on holiday. My mum only wants me to have friends if its toucher. (See what I did there?) So while you're here we have to get matching tattoos like we've been talking about just because that would be super cute. Also go to the beach (your request). And at some point the others might be coming down, it all depends on my hours at work. And we'll finally meet Jess. There isn't really much else to do here but I'm sure we'll think of things we always do.. maybe a bike ride, yes that would be cute! And then you can help me pack for our yet to decide trip away, which i'll add is in less that 2 weeks! I just remembered something else… DANCE PARTIES, no longer solo!

Hmm what else? My nan came to visit, it went better that we all thought it would which i am very surprised at but she stayed the night, I actually think Olivia was more annoying than my nan but anyway. Before she came here she stayed at this camping place with the static caravan things with mum, Emma, Olivia, Leo and Phill oh and the baby stayed at, I bet that was stressful, I only went on the sunday night. But omg there was a guy that worked there, he was hot all I did was stare at him and he was funny ugh. They gave us marshmallows covered in chocolate (yeah i didn't eat it obviously) Olivia had one and got it stuck in my hair didn't she… bitch.  Enough about that.

I think my posts are actually getting shorter and shorter, I don't even have a tumblr update for you. But at least its better than nothing, yes that was a dig at you because I noticed you didn't post. I'll just end the post here, One more post from me until you're here, I have a much better idea of what to type for that one I hope I don't forget otherwise i'll be stuck like I have been for the past few weeks. Everybody Makes Mistakes

Dear Chummy,

I would like to fill this space with a small reminder that everybody makes mistakes, and that's okay. We're all human beings and we're allowed to mess up every now and then, you know. It doesn't matter if it's pointing someone the wrong way when they ask for directions or oversleeping by an hour, it's not the end of the world - everybody does it.

Here I would like to draw your attention to a very famous example. A young man who has, of recent years, been torn apart by criticism for all his mistakes, had his talent forgotten and thrown aside, most likely into the mop bucket in which he pissed, and lost not just one, but two of his loves. A young man who is of course Justin Bieber. Being thrown into the spotlight at such a tender age has been known to increase the likelihood of making silly mistakes, and even though these mistakes are usually no worse than those made by your average teenager, there's a lot more attention given to them. You are punished greatly by the public, shamed and embarrassed and used an example - as I am doing so now. The list of Justin Bieber's mistakes is rather extensive, those topping said list include: not watching where he's going and marking glass doors with his forehead; drinking milk before going on stage and throwing up (he's not likely to do that again); wearing clothes way too big for him (pull up your pants JB!); and obviously dying his hair bleach blonde! It can be said however, that out of all the mistakes Mr Bieber has made in his time, even the worst is forgivable. With a quick but sincere apology, any mistake can be rectified.

So, dearest Chummy, what I'd like you to take from this post is that everyone makes mistakes. Even someone as good looking as Justin Bieber. And even though you think it might be the end of the world, it's not because he's probably done worse or took the shame and embarrassment for you!

Sorry its late, nobody's perfect

Dear Chummy,

I hope you rocked into a Hannah Montana song after reading the title because I did, actually I know you did too thats why we're best friends. Yeah your post wasn't as good as the 241 I got last week but it will do. It was a busy week for me too but at the same time it wasn't (oh one of those weeks - yes indeed it was) I managed to watch 4 seasons of pretty little lairs, go to work, go food shopping, go out on saturday night (have rumours spread about me the next day at work but we shall just shake it off.) and i still slept; all in all a predictive ish week. Yours definitely sounded like you did more and don't worry about work you'll do a great job I know you will, the good thing about it is if you mess up it doesn't matter because people will probably be too drunk to notice anyway ;)

Did you have fun at the beach? I wish you went to Skegness so I could have seen you, although I was working anyway. But yes we'll be going next month for sure, and you're coming to stay for a while yes? I hope so because I miss you so much I need a familiar face and jumper in my life. People keep saying hello to me like I know who they are and I'm having a full on conversation with these people, I mean I don't want to be rude and when they walk away I am left so confused because I have no idea who they are, its happened like three times so weird haha. So yeah I need somebody to have a conversation with that I know lol.

Hmm I don't know what else to talk about. Oh poppy has a new boyfriend she's a cat slut omg, this one is black with a white bit under its head, she's getting more lads than us maybe she should teach us. Haha I'm imagining it now, her having like dating tips or something, there you go let your imagination go wild, not too wild though.

My no posts on sunday are getting shorter and shorter, nothing exciting has happened lately I feel bad that you won't have much to read but i'll get a life soon I hope.

Even Shorter, But Maybe Not as Sweet.

Dear Chummy,

It's been a really busy week, I've had lots of training sessions and lots of uni and not much time. I like being busy though, it makes me feel more productive - if I have a lot to do I'll get more done whereas if I don't have much to do I'll just put it off and then get stressed. Next week is going to be busier.. the pub is opening and I have lots of shifts and that's exciting, but it's also really scary - what if I'm rubbish at bartending?? Or fuck up people's cocktails?? I guess I'll learn though, confidence comes with practise, right?

I'm going to Plymouth at the weekend with Mum and Evan, I really can't wait it'll be so nice I hope we get to go to the beach!! Speaking of beaches, we are definitely going when I come to yours next month! I really want to swim in the sea, and lay on the sand - pls don't put sand down my top this time :((( I'm staying in Bristol for most of Easter which is going to be so weird because everybody else is going home and it'll just be me! I'll get lots of work done though hopefully and I'll have work as well which will keep me busy :)

I watched 50 Shades of Grey this week. I'm so glad I watched it online and didn't pay because it was so so awful. I had a frown on my face the entire time I watched it. I feel like I told you this on facetime but I can't even remember what day it was that I watched the film lol. But yeah, the film was real shit. Another unpopular opinion of mine this week is how angry Meghan Trainor's music makes me. I really dislike it. The lyrics in her new song really get to me aha I have v. strong feelings about this.

I feel like I peaked too soon last week with two posts because now I really don't know what to write about.. maybe I should have saved things to write about this week, oops. My mind has literally gone blank so I'm going to leave it here and let you use your imagination to make this post wonderful :).
