happy or crappy new year?

Dear Chummy,
Wow! What a shit year it has been, I've lost and I've lost some more, not gained anything accept a miserable mind set and anxiety shooting out of my chest and every given moment. I feel like 2016 has been a real slap in the face from the second it started to the second it ended, couldn't be more happy that it's gone forever. Safe to say, you were right, being 20 clearly does suck. However over the past few days I have seen a lot of people posting about the great year they have had, recapping all the exciting things they had done, places they had been, people they have met and it really made me realise that, this time next year I want to be sat in my room, or sat with a friend, looking back over a wonderful year and feeling so happy to have lived my life and achieved great things. I deserve that right? Normally I think making new years resolutions is such a cliché thing to do, that nobody ever sticks to, however this year I want to try my hardest to keep to these and constantly be adding new ambitions to the list so here is,

Seventeen (because 2017) goals to achieve by the end of the year:-
  1. Really focus on college work, finish the year with DDD and get into my top university choices
  2. Do more creative things
  3. Read at least 3 books
  4. Get a job (this one is important, I'm so poor it's sad)
  5. See my friends more than once a year
  6. Find out what makes me happy, and do more of it
  7. Start feeling more confident in myself and my work
  8.  Eat less junk food? (this will be hard but I think I can do it, maybe thats why I'm so unhappy all the time? because my body doesn't ever feel healthy lol)
  9.  Learn about poetry
  10.  Be more independent
  11.  Watch and appreciate more foreign films
  12.  Get a new wardrobe // some new clothes (the ones I have really suck now, I think its time)
  13.  More art and culture
  14.  Buy a new lens for my camera and film more stuff and take more photos
  15.  Start university
  16.  Go to Disneyland & Disneyworld
  17. De-clutter (I mean everything from my laptop, to my room, to things/people in my life)
AND ACTUALLY BUY CHELSEA A BIRTHDAY AND CHRISTMAS PRESENT THIS YEAR (STOP BEING A BAD FRIEND)

I would love to hear what your 2017 goals are, if you have any!
See you soon, only 4 months until we go to Disneyland! (and until I'm 21, what the hell)

Ending on a few of my favourite photos from 2016:

Happy new year!
Love Georgia xoxo

Happy Birthday Chelsea!

Dear Chummy,
So today is your 21st birthday, wtf where has time gone? is this even real? what does it feel like? are you going to remember to tell people you're 21 now? does this mean its not socially acceptable to act weird in public? do you have to do official adult things now? what is this 21 questions ;) - get it haha 21, you know because you're 21. ok never mind.

I just posted a really shit message on your facebook wall, so I thought I better make it up to you and write something cool on here; it's not turning out great. Um so I've been thinking for hours of something I could type that you would enjoy to read and to make you feel less old; to take away the feeling of being 21 already - heres what I come up with.

21 of my favourite memories with you;

  1. "It's my birthday, oh thank you"
  2. The first time we ever saw Justin live and the time you won tickets for the 'This is Justin Bieber' concerts! Christmas songs are the best
  3. Making really cringy and horrible videos on my trampoline
  4. Freezing t-shirts and trying to put them on - who thought that was a good idea?
  5.  Finding that old book shop in Plymouth, that was a really cute place
  6.  That time we were uncontrollably laughing because we couldn't get my blanket to go over our feet and it really wasn't funny at all - why were we even laughing at that, I mean?
  7.  When I accidentally put your ring in one of the holes on the pool table and then we decided to follow that boy all the way back to his caravan lol, this is where our stalking days begun
  8.  Seeing Taylor Swift in Cologne, Amsterdam and Manchester - three of the best concerts I have ever been to, I honestly had so much fun, and it wouldn't have been the same without you
  9.  Running into the boys toilets in the old bank
  10.  Sliding down your stairs on the mattresses
  11.  Flicking my shoe off my foot and it hitting you in the head, sorry about that
  12.  Red and benchie?
  13.  BEN AND KATIE!!!!!!!!!!!
  14.  is that 6,9 or 12? yeah thats us
  15.  My mum's 40th, dancing all night, making a playlist for the DJ, also making friendship bracelets and jumping all over the beds at the hotel - leaving it really messy for the people who actually stayed in it
  16.  Leaving notes on peoples cars, 'If I was your boyfriend, I'd never let you go' 'is there a number on the back?'
  17.  When we raised our own money for the 'Pray for Japan' thing, that was really nice of us, I am very proud of past us for doing that, even though it wasn't a lot
  18.  Gluing our hands together and trying to eat the hardest thing to cut in the world with one hand - well done, that was smart
  19. 'Ikea is a magical place'
  20.  Discovering Kingsley on youtube for the first time
  21. Meeting the kooks!!! aaahhhh we need to see them again I miss them. ' you have a beautiful face'
There are so many memories that could have made it onto that list, I mean it could go on and on! and there will be a million more memories in the future because you're stuck with me whether you like it or not.

Again, sorry I'm not there to celebrate your day with you but I know the others will make sure you have a fucking amazing time! 21 SHOTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!

I love and miss you sooooo much!
See you really soon!
Have fun seeing Justin again

Love, Georgia xoxo

kiss

Dear Chummy,

Keep it short, simple - sorry it's been a while. I haven't really had anything exciting or interesting to post about because I've not exactly been doing much with my summer, however it's about time I posted something to you!

After finishing college all I have really been doing is watching a lot of Netflix; I've been through so many shows, mostly crime - I absolutely love it; and also gossip girl which is amazing you should watch it, if you haven't already!!! I had a house party, that was fun and of course I got slightly drunk so I have no memory of a small part of it although I know for a fact there was no crying ;) And I have a cute Polaroid of me and some friends which I adore!

Lastly I bought Leo a kitten for his birthday, she is the most adorable thing in the world, I love her!!!! Her name is Luna (named after Luna Lovegood)! She looks like a little tiger with her markings, I'm so in love!!! She loves me too, when I kiss her she puts her tiny, little paws on my face and leans in to kiss me and if thats not love then what is? - who needs boys when you have that? AM I RIGHT?

'Cats before twats'

Thats it for my summer if I'm being honest; anything I have to look forward to happens when summer ends, Trips with you to see Justin in Norway and Spain, Selena Gomez, etc. So posts after summer will be so much better and way more fun to read!!!

AND BESTIVAL!!!! - I'm going to share my list of things to do/buy before Bestival this year, I'm going to be 10xs more prepared this year for sure! As you know the theme is 'The Future' and theres so much you can do with that!!! (taken from notes on my iPhone)

  • Blue hair dye! - I want to dye my hair pastel blue because I think that would look extremely cool especially for the theme it would go with a lot too!
  • silver bum bag - my old one broke and silver would match the theme better, I could also stick space themed stickers and stuff on it.
  • SPACE STICKERS
  • GLITTER
  • iron on badges - for my clothes, this is gonna look sickkk
  • NASA hoody or t-shirt - probably t-shirt because hopefully it will be hot
  • Silver pen - to draw on my wellies
  • planet/alien chocker
  • sparkly socks - just because its cool
  1. Sell Tickets!
  2. Plan outfits
  3. Buy everything I need - including a tent
  4. Alcohol (and stuff)
  5. Plan travel
I'm sorry this post was rubbish and I do have some good blog ideas written ready in my notes but it hasn't been the perfect time for those yet so you'll just have to wait for a better one! I hope you aren't too disappointed with it haha! I can't wait to read your next one to hear about your summer, and see photos from secret garden party!!!! - Have a great time!

Love and miss you so so so so so so much!!!
See you soon!

Love Georgia xoxo

Somethings Are Better Left Unsaid

Dear Chummy,

As far as the average person is concerned, I have an abnormally large amount of twitter followers (thank you dorky, teenage me!) and this audience is very mixed; there's people I know personally and there's a large number of strangers. There's a wide range of ages, genders and cultures and with such a great following comes a great responsibility. I have to be careful what I tweet. I can't be bitchy about someone because they might see it, I can't offend One Direction because I might get hunted down and killed. Because I have to have this filter, I have a lot of drafts (when I say a lot, i mean a lot - there's 141 of them...).

So onto the main point of this post, I'm going to pick some of my drafts on twitter and maybe explain them a lil and see what happens. Like your last post, this is 100% a youtube video possibility (when we have subscribers ;)!) so here goes..

  1.  "@georgeeeyeah EXCUSE ME CAN U LOOK AT YOUR TEXTS PLEASE" This one is absolutely classic, in fact I think others similar to this are actually a frequent feature in my drafts. You never answer your phone. Ever.
  2. "I'm going to be on TV tonight and it's going to be tragic ahaha" I have zero idea what this could be about. Not a clue, The only thing I think it could be is from when I saw Justin on TMI but I'm not sure why that would have been tragic so no idea.
  3. "Let's be honest, what's changed" I'm not too sure why I didn't actually tweet this, it's quite a good one - the picture is cute, the captions cute, maybe I'll tweet it now (probably not)

  4. "'8 years I've been waiting to see a pig'" I remember this one, it's an Evan quote. I can't remember where we were or why he said it, I think it was just a super random outburst but I laughed a lot.
  5. "10 months older Taylor tweet throwback remember" This is SO frustrating. I missed it by a month. This is a reminder to post a pic from 1989 tour with Clean lyrics ten months after we'd been. Damn.
  6. "When you finish work at 5am but have plans for 10am and " Obviously couldn't think of an ending for this tweet. Here are the pictures that accompanied the tweet. High-key looking like a mess but low-key feeling myself.
  7.  "80's music is so 'get up and go'" Yeah true to be fair.
  8. "'We don't even have shrimps, we just have prawns!'" Honestly, the funniest thing Louie ever said to me, so glad this is in my drafts cos I just laughed all over again. It was how he almost cried while saying it, like it's the biggest struggle Aussie's have to face.
  9. "uh oh, there you go again talking cinematic, yeah you!" A little bit of Hannah Montana, lyrics are also quite frequent in my drafts theres some Taylor Swift, theres a bit of Justin Bieber "is it too late to say sorrrry" two extra 'r's cos that's how you sing it.
  10. "I wasn't going to watch it, but I gave in and I really wish I hadn't" This was about Fifty Shades of Grey
  11. "Turns out the world doesn't end when you have no internet for four days, who knew" I like this one. It's very true and I wish I had more internet free days.
  12. "Life doesn't suck. People do." closely followed by..
  13. "Such a moody bitch today" I mean that's most days really.
and the finale..

   14. "How do I have so many followers? my tweets are so shit"

I hope you enjoyed reading this, it was kinda fun to see what doesn't make it through my filter and what I deem unsuitable (boring / badly written) for twitter. I have so many more so maybe they'll be a part two who knows. Sorry it's been a while.

Laterz,
Chelsea x

I've got that nostalgic feeling

Dear Chummy,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been super busy cramming and rushing to get all of my work that I hadn't done, finished for deadlines (I know I'm going to fail - but we'll get to that when it comes). Right now I've stopped watching Smallville for 5 minutes because I had a brilliant idea for a blog post to you. Ok so I've had my 2014 memory jar on my bedside table for ages just staring at me and today, I finally decided to open it; - I'm going to share with you as I open some notes, this could be fun!!

  1. 'Chelsea organised a surprise meal for me and some friends from school, for me leaving to live in Boston. I definitely have the bestest and cutest best friend in the whole world.' - aww, do you remember that? I was in the car getting annoyed at my mum for not taking me to your house, little did I know she was driving me to this.. so cute!
  2. 'Me and Ricky are bandana pals :)' - wow too cool for the world! Am I right?
  3. 'Found out TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB are headlining Latitude!! :O' - Little did I know,  the day before they would cancel this and lily allen would replace them.
  4. 'Me and Chelsea walked into the boys loo, hahaha oops!' - hahaha funny drunk memories
  5. 'Replaced Olivia's furby with coal for Christmas, it was so funny! (side note) theres a video on Phill's phone!' - thanks past georgia for reminding me theres a video somewhere, that's probably the most helpful thing you've done.
  6. 'Me and Chelsea swam in the sea (it was freezing) we regret nothing' - not sure which time that was but NO RAGRETS!
  7. 'I don't get asked for ID out in town anymore, they know me. 2 G8!' - brilliant georgia, what an achievement, (I think I was actually 17 at the time)
  8. 'OMG! - Bastille and the kooks tour dates; I am buying tickets for both :D :D :D.' - I believe I only got tickets for the kooks
  9. 'Me and Fay ordered dominos pizza at college'
  10. 'WE GOT TICKETS FOR THE KOOKS!! THE FUCKING KOOKS OMFG!' - I guess we only got tickets for the kooks ;)
  11. 'Mum said we can get a new cat! YAY!' - we never got a new cat
  12. 'SHAKE IT OFF' - thats all I put! haha
  13. 'Cafe crawl and Nandos with my faves Jas + Fay again, so good to catch up :)' - well..
  14. 'Free trip to the zoo with chelsea's school. Took a selfie with the elephants and we're doing the same pose!' lol.' - Omg I remember that, I didnt have to pay to get in because I just walked in with you guys, that was great!! 'can you cut the pizza into 8? … no.'
  15. 'IM 18!! yay omg finally' - ew theres nothing great about being 18, I'm now 20 though wtf.
  16. 'Me, Chelsea and Ricky went for pizza in the forest' - aww my pals, I miss this day and our sleepover we had (pretty sure thats on one of theses notes)
  17. 'Finally moved into my newly decorated room - so cute (i drew a flower)'
  18. 'At the kooks there were this couple and they were dancing crazy and it was really funny (I think they were drunk or high lol) Me and chelsea were making their convo and trying to guess their names. I said he looks like a Ben and Chelsea said she looks like a Kate or a Katie. We found them on insta the next day and thats their real names… OMFG ME AND CHELSEA LAUGHED FOR AGES, SO FREAKY!!!' - Probably my favourite one so far!
  19. 'Night out in Bristol, took a group selfie with a guy asleep on the stairs.' - I think he passed out didn't he?
  20. 'Spent the whole week with Chelsea, it was great :)'
  21. 'Me and Chelsea bought 21 Disney videos for £1.90!!' - What a great day, I still have them under my bed
  22. 'Bruno replied 31st dec - finally' - wow Georgia get over it already. This is the australian guy, Bruno is his code name I don't know if you remember, anyways I still know what I said to him.. it was Happy Birthday lol. Anyways, moving on…
  23. 'Me and Chelsea booked tickets to see the kooks again. (3rd time this year :D) they get better every time.' - wow we aw them a lot! haha
  24. 'I got asked for ID to buy Sherlock, rated 12! it's 2014, I'm 18 this year, what is the world coming to?' - haha dear young self, you'll be 19 next year and you'll still be getting id'd for stupid things, one time you won't even be able to buy party poppers because you will leave the house without your ID - don't do that again.
  25. 'I was so close to Tay at the red tour , took a selfie with her and its my favourite thing!' - This is still the closest thing I have to a selfie with her, but I'm not going to give up hope
  26. 'Watching The Lion King at 5am (well trying to) x2' - haha did we ever end up getting through it?

  30. 'Mum's Party; me and Chelsea bought wine and downed it and danced all night' - Classy is all I have to say about that, but yeah that was a fun night
  31. 'Got the job @ Debenhams in Oxford!' - well that lasted 2 days because I had a break down because I was incapable of getting the bus, fuck u anxiety. But I guess it worked out for the best because I came home and applied for college where I finally made some friends and things started turing around for me
  32. 'Made a Summer bucket list and I plan to do everything on it.' - Did that happen?

  41. 'Me and Dimo got banned from NB's again but I bullshit our way back in ;)' - haha omg that was the night I left you with that guy after taking his drink, I ended up dropping and smashing that drink which was the reason me and Dimo weren't allowed in the club lol

- That was a great trip, and way to end the summer I had so much fun! We should do that again sometime!

    50. 'Dear Chummy blog with Chelsea where we post letters to each other every wednesday and sunday - best idea we've ever had.' - Ok confession, this wasn't the last note I found but I thought I would save it for last because how bloody iconic!

Well that was so much fun; there is obviously more than that but a quarter of the way through I started getting bored with writing them all down! - there were some listy ones like the last one about Reading festival and Amsterdam and stuff too. What i've learned from this is that we saw the kooks at lot of times in one year, what a great time to be alive! haha I hope you enjoyed that journey back in time 2 years, I think this would make a great youtube video one day when I get the subscribers up ;)!

I think I might do this again one year, or when we go traveling it will be great to write down all the little things to be able to look back on!

I love and miss you loads, can't wait to see you again soon!!!

A Guide to Being Twenty

Dear Chummy,

HAPPY GEORGIA DAY !!!

Hooray! You made it to twenty!

Twenty is such a weird age, you're no longer a teenager but you'll do the same things you did last year when you were nineteen. I mean it is a big deal, twenty is a milestone but it's not quite twenty-one is it?

In all honesty, being twenty hasn't been good to me - I feel like I haven't really done anything exciting since turning the big two zero and I don't really have anything exciting planned for the last six months either. But life is 100%, without a shadow of a doubt exactly what you make it so I think you'll do twenty better than I have so far and guess what here's a guide!

Image from HelloGiggles.com

Step One:
This is the first year of pure adulthood, start it right. Declutter, have a proper good sort out, and plan some stuff, think about the future (but not too much, it's scary).

Step Two:
Go out and meet people, someone, anyone. Make new friends, do tinder dates.. they seem super scary but I dare you. If you go on one, I'll go on one too.

Step Three:
I know I've just said go on dates but don't worry about your love life. It's not worth it, focus on loving you. Baby, you should go and love yourself.

Step Four:
Travel. See a new country and experience the culture, properly. This one should be easy, we already have two new countries planned and I am determined to be able to experience it properly, maybe actually go out for a traditional Norwegian or Spanish meal rather than jut Mcdonalds haha!

Step Five:
Be hopeful and ambitious. Dream big and work for those dreams, the future is so unknown and something that could seem impossible and unrealistic now may turn out to be completely possible in the future.

Step Six:
Read lots, not just books but the news, articles and journals. Stay educated and aware of the world around you. There is always something to read.

Step Seven:
Drink. It is crucial that you start having a casual drink in the evening (maybe not every evening) but just a glass of wine or a gin & lemonade (not sure how you feel about tonic so I played it safe) to chill out at the end of the day. You'll be feeling like an adult in no time.

Step Eight:
Start thinking about money. It's nice to have right, figure out your finances and have a plan - especially as you're going to move and uni it up.

Step Nine:
Look after your health, physical and mental - life's harder if you're feeling crooked. Eat properly, half self-care days, see the damn doctor if you're feeling unwell and if they're a wanker don't take it to heart, seek some online advice and comfort from pals.

Step Ten:
Don't beat yourself up. Everybody makes mistakes (everybody has those days) and being 20 is all about getting things wrong and thats ok. Everybody tries to be a better them, and everybody gives up after two days. Eventually though, as we get older, we change little by little and don't really notice that it's happening but we look back and we think fuck I'm actually doing okay. So give yourself a break if life gets hard, you deserve it.

And that's my very adult-like guide to being twenty. Realistically, I think it's gone a lot different, but I do think I've come up with some pretty good points that I should probably take note of myself.

But here's to you turning 20!! *clinks glasses and shouts hip hip hooray!*
I hope this year brings you the greatest things, I really do and I can't wait to (hopefully) experience them all with you. I love you lots and lots and wish I could have been there with you, wearing Christmas jumpers and eating chocolate fingers but alas, life.

bye bye,
Chelsea xx

spot the londoner

Dear Chummy,

Hey, how's it going? How was Norway? I'm waiting on a post all about it; or you can just tell me in person because in three days we'll be reunited, I am so excited to see you and spend the week with you. It's been way too long, oh my god now that I think about it I haven't actually seen you since last year and that makes me want to cry, I miss you so so so so so much!!! I know it isn't my turn to post but neither of us have for a while and I kinda fancied typing out something other than college work, it seems to be taking over my life but I'm enjoying it I guess.

So London!! What shall we do? Lets plan it out.. (kids underground tickets this time, why pay extra when you don't need to?) We can make a bucket list and tick it off as we go along, I want to document it with videos and photos, its important to have stuff like this for the future, what if I wake up one day and forget stuff, you never know.

  • Alice in Wonderland exhibition
  • Cat cafe? (we have to do it! i know you're not a fan but it will still be cool)
  • Hunterian museum - similar to the zoology place but human
  •  Check out the Traffic Light Tree - it looks so cool! (night photos)
  • Cool markets - we'll have to find the best ones
  • Guildhall art gallery
  • The Scoop
  • The BFI mediatheque
  • Taxidermy museum
  • That museum we missed last time (I forgot what it's called)
  • The London Film museum (its like £10 each though so maybe not)
We really need to get planning so we don't waste the day, or maybe we can go for breakfast when we get there to plan it out, idk we'll work it out!!, you're better than me at finding cool things, make a post or comment other stuff for us to do!!

LET THE MUSIC MOVE YOU

Dear Chummy,

(Spotify Friendship Playlist)

  1. Justin Bieber // Purpose - This should be the first song on the playlist for many reasons; the obvious one, its Justin our absolute babe. But mainly because without him we wouldn't have become such good friends and be where we are now. Our friendship gives me purpose so a big up to biebs.
  2. Hannah Montana // True Friend - This song literally represents our friendship and also this song always reminds me of you. (We still need to make a video montage of our friendship to this)
  3. Selena Gomez // We Own The Night - 'When we are together its the time of our lives' because when I'm with you I have the best times ever.
  4. The Kooks // See The World - I can't wait to go traveling and see the world with you, creating more memories I can treasure forever.
  5. Crystal Fighters // We Are One - I honestly think we have the same mind the majority of the time, it's really funny when we think/say the same thing at the same time in front of other people, they get so creeped out.
  6. Hilary Duff // One In A Million - Thats what you are to me.
  7. Circa Waves // Best Years - I believe our best years are yet to come and I seriously can't wait for them.
  8. Demi Lovato // Cool For The Summer - I can't wait until summer, we have so much planned, its going to be a good one!!!! (we just need money, but we'll worry about that later)
  9. She and Him // Stay Awhile - Next time you're here please stick around a while.
  10. Taylor Swift // I'm Only Me When Im With You - Best taylor song for this tbh, because I know no matter what I can be myself around you and I love that so thanks for letting me be comfortable being me with no judgements.
  11. Ella Eyre // Good Times - I think I'm on to something cause I feel the good times coming
  12. Gorgan City // Imagination - You have such a good and creative imagination and when we join our minds together we think of the funniest and best things ever.
  13. S.P.Y // By Your Side - I want you to know I'll be by your side through thick and thin, I know you'll be by mine too, (ps: this song is good to dance to and we could see it at bestival this year)
  14. Swim Deep // Make My Sun Shine - You are my sunshine on a cloudy day. Love you
  15. Carly Rae Jepsen ft Justin Bieber // Beautiful - simply because you're beautiful

For now thats all I've got but I might come back and edit/update this list so keep your eyes out, I hope you enjoy it and if you can think of any other songs to add for the next time we're hanging out that we can listen to, feel free to comment or something idk.

Love and miss you so much,
See you soon hopefully to finally watch season six of the vampire diaries

You want a Pizza me??

Dear Chummy,

Something a little different for you today, a recipe. Enjoy.

Ingredients:

For the base:
300g Plain Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
300g Natural Yoghurt
1/2 tsp Salt

For the sauce:
Tin of Tomato Passata
1 Tsp Mixed Herbs
2 Pinches of Caster Sugar
1 Garlic Clove

Toppings:
Whatever you fancy
[I have red onion, cherry tomatoes, spinach, mozarella, ricotta, cheddar and sometimes parma ham]

Method:

  • First things first (i'm the realest), preheat the oven to gas mark 7/220 degrees and place trays in there to heat.
  • To make the sauce, grate the garlic and add that, the passata, herbs and sugar into a saucepan at a medium heat. Let this simmer for 10 minutes until it is thick and take it off of the heat, season with a sprinkling of salt and pepper and let it cool.
  • To make the dough, sieve the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl and combine. Make a well in the middle and pour the yoghurt in and stir with a fork. The mixture will soon form a dough. Turn this out onto a floured surface and knead to form a ball.
  • Depending on how big you want the pizzas, divide the dough into equal pieces (the original recipe says 4, but for a fairly large pizza I split into 2). Roll these into circles, or whatever pizza shape you fancy.
  • Remove the hot baking trays from the the oven and place your pizza bases on top and bake each for 3-4 minutes until they begin to rise then take them out (don't burn yourself, I know what you're like).
  • Turn your pizza bases over and top with the sauce.
  • Now it's time to get creative, go crazy with your chosen toppings and make something that won't just taste delicious but will look it too.
  • Once you're done channeling your inner italian pizzeria chef, pop those bad boys back in the oven and bake for a further 5 minutes until the bases are crisp and the cheese is melted and you're happy as larry.
  • Now you're ready to taste the best homemade pizza you've ever had. You're welcome.

Caio,
Chelsea.

Feeling Inspired

Dear Chummy,

Reading through your last post has left me inspired; I really want to do more with my life too. I need to stop slouching around at home feeling so sorry for myself because frankly I have just about had enough of feeling so depressed and doing absolutely nothing about it. It's time to change. I'm not going to bore you with a list of things I should do this year because that would just be copying you, and its 2016 now I need to start standing on my own two feet and thinking solo, but I will say this; I do have a list, and I'm going to try and stick to it this time, like you should.

We have a lot to look forward to this year and even with college I have projects that excite me just a tiny bit… We're making music video's next. Originally I had planned to film one for Out Of The Woods however Taylor has beat me to it, I'll let her off though, I mean it is her song. And its ok because I have new ideas for a different song from the album; I want to film a really deep video for Clean because lately that song has been a real eye opener to me. The song is so special to me for different reasons and I think if I chose a song that has meaning to me then it will be easier to create a better music video don't you think? Anyway I'm just happy that I have that horrendous sustainable packaging project out of the way, well nearly, I just needed to add a few changes to get it to a distinction -  Im extremely proud of that grade actually considering I fell so far behind everyone with this work that I didn't think a pass was possible.

I need to start thinking about getting ready for uni, I really want to go to one in London. I have looked into it and I need to come out of college with DDM to get in so I'm going to work extra hard to achieve that. I feel like this course is so much better suited to me than photography, I'm glad something in my head changed and I decided to go back to college. Also the uni wants to see that you do filming outside of college and stuff so in summer Ellis and I are going to crack on with making music videos and short films, I think we should make a travel one when we go away too. I'm going to set up a Youtube which should be cool (I don't want to be on camera though, I'm far too awkward)

Oh my god, I just looked over your post again about wanting to be well-read. A few days ago I joined a new website, Good Reads, I think you should sign up (add me). It's really cool you can add books you want to read and keep track of books you have already read. I think you'll really like this website, I know I do and I'm going to try my best to keep up to date with it too. Talking about books and being well-read and you wanting to write more reminded me that I really want to get into poetry, I absolutely love reading poetry and I wish I could write it. It think in the summer we should take a short class on it or something like that, I don't know, maybe. Or a short course on learning a language, another skill I've wanted to have for a while.

I do indeed think we should change our blog up a bit. Maybe we should research into how to make it look cool and fresh so that other people would be just as interested in it as we are. Can you imagine if this blog ever became popular and people loved the idea of it and started doing the same thing? Or that we got noticed by a Tv show like Ellen that wanted us to talk about it - now I'm being too ambitious haha! Anyway I think we should definitely talk about it more when we see each other next, it's easier that way.

And on that note; I am so excited to see you again soon!!! You don't understand how much I actually need you here with me right now (It's a lot) so hurry up and get here, I miss you so much!

See you later, alligator

Mid-January Realisations.

Dear Chummy,

I have started and rewritten this post many times of the past few days and I feel like it is late. I'm not sure why I feel that way considering we haven't set any particular deadlines this year, but it is motivating me to just write and be done with it. I have done an awful lot of reflecting recently and I have realised that life has a tendency to throw all manner of struggles at us and that we just have to deal with them, and  it is usually how we deal with them that defines us. It makes us stronger, we learn and we grow and life just sort of goes on. Following this realisation I have been thinking about things I want to work on this year, and I know it's the 16th of January but  I don't think you need the first of a month to tell you when to make a change.

Mid-January Realisation #1: Put effort into my degree, stop pretending it doesn't exist.
Having had three examinations this week; definitely failing one, maybe scraping a pass in the second and not even turning up to the third has really thrown things into perspective for me. I am at a bloody good university, I have access to a top class education, and libraries and some of the greatest minds and do you know what? I haven't really appreciated it. Not one bit. I have been fighting to get through my degree, drowning in the work and not even attempting to swim. I have wanted it to be over since it started. Now I am half way through and I am fed up. I am fed up of feeling inadequate and defeated. I can do this. If I try, I can do this. I want a good mark. I want to succeed. I do not want to drown any more. So from this struggle and disappointment comes a new sense of purpose. Things need to change, I need to start putting the effort in - I've made it this far, I can make it the rest and I can make it count.

Mid-January Realisation #2: Become well-read, knowledgeable and cultured.
This new motivation has also given me a desire to become more well-read. I want to know about the world, and what's going on in it. I want to have opinions and intelligent discussions with people. I'm tired of sitting back and just listening. I am the biggest listener. I need to know about things and I want to write about them. I really really want to write more, and I want to get good at it. I want to become cultured too. I want to see things and learn, fuck I think I just want to be a sponge. A sponge with an opinion. I want to know more about politics too, people talk about it and I really cant comment because I don't understand it. I think it would be good to learn a language as well. Maybe I'm just being a bit ambitious now?

Mid-January Realisation #3: Let those creative juices flow.
With regards to the whole writing thing, I generally want to be more creative - I have always had a very scientific brain and feeling as though I'm not even good at that anymore is pushing me to become more acquainted with my creative side. I want to take more photographs and good ones too (I swear I say that in every post) and I just want to take full advantage of any shred of creativity I have ya know?

Now I have titled each paragraph, I feel pressured to write about more realisations I have had but I am afraid they are very generic and I really don't want to sound like every other person, so I'm going to be a button in a bag of zips (idk) and just end that segment right here.

On a completely unrelated note; I really enjoyed the chummy letters thing your mum said and I've been thinking about maybe updating the design of this blog - changing it up, making it more stylish, maybe trying to get a wider audience - changing it's name around. I'm going to brainstorm. but let me know whatcha think :). Also my next post will deffo include pictures, I promise.

Later Skater,
Chels.

Nuevos Comienzos

Dear Chummy,

Your letter was very exciting to read, I am definitely looking forward to this year with you it will be a good one. I know 2015 wasn't the best year for you but we had some amazing times and created some unforgettable memories that I will honestly cherish forever and ever. I really want to pay a tribute to that year in this post because to me it was one of the best years of my life. I finally did things that made me happy with the people that made me happy and although I lost and learnt along the way (yes, I'm talking about lending people you call your 'friend's money, and nearly a year later and still not getting it back) but I replaced those people with new friends that are amazing, I can't wait for you to meet them.

Happy things to remember about 2015;
  • Trips to London, just the two of us was so much fun. Visiting and seeing a different side to the city - we still need to go back to that museum that was closed and the cat cafe
  • Getting a tattoo, I know this seems like something we shouldn't be happy about however I have started to like it more now because people always ask me about it, why do you have a boat? why did you get this tattoo? what does it mean? - these questions always make me think of you and how we got them for friendship and whenever I catch it out of the corner of my eye I now smile because it represents us truly being best friends forever.
  • Trips to different cities in Europe, both Cologne and Amsterdam. These two places were so much fun, and more fun because I was there with you. Visiting the beautiful cathedral and art museums and eating the best chicken selection boxes at mcdonalds in Germany to the cute cat museum and art museums and walks around Amsterdam city. AND OF COURSE SEEING TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!
  • Seeing Taylor with you 3 times was the highlight of my year, making the costumes and wearing them and all the lights and glitter and signs and everything was amazing! She really did know how to put on the best shows ever. I think I will always remember the clean performance and crying at it. Again I wouldn't have had so much fun looking like a fool dancing and singing my heart out if you weren't there to join me. - I also think if we had worn our outfits for the manchester show we definitely would have been meeting her, I saw mama swift look at us loads of times. (Theres always next time)
  • Living and working with you in Bristol (I know it wasn't for long but) I had an awesome time experiencing life as a student for that time. I also loved watching movies/documentaries/tv shows with you and ordering food at 2 in the morning because thats what time we thought was appropriate to eat dinner. Maybe I can do the same again this summer.
  • Random visits and sleepovers are always fun whatever year we have them but I thought I would mention them in this post.
  • Going to the beach and being attacked by the sand, not fun that was actually really painful but I still enjoyed recreating our photos on the fair rides.
Theres probably more but I stayed up late so many times in a row so far the past couple of weeks I think its finally hitting me. I might actually finish this post tomorrow…. (update: I went to sleep, and came back to it today)

Your letter arrived today, I loved it so much! Thank you for that, I really needed something to cheer me up, I'm going to keep it forever and the photo was the cutest - I put it on my wall already.

Im looking forward to you visiting me soon so we can go for walks at like one in the morning in our pyjamas and take photos and genuinely catch up! We can watch a season of the vampire diaries if I buy it before you come (unless you already have it, then bring it with you, remember when I cried like a baby at the end of season 5. I was not ready for that emotion)! We can also go and see jess about the money if she's even there hmm.

I think you'll appreciate the fact that I'm listening to Justin while I type this post, getting me excited to see him. Do you think he'll perform songs from journals? I hope so, that album was so underrated. Im still annoyed you can't buy a physical cd copy of it, although we can get the vinyl thats cool. We will totally meet him on tour, omg remember when I told everyone he'd gone and they started shouting hate at me? lol

Small bucket list we can constantly add to,
2016:
  • See Justin and meet him obviously
  • Travel to more places
  • Visit more museums
  • Take more photos (polaroid, film and digital)
  • Make the most of life
  • Be happy
  • See more of each other
  • Get through education
  • Worry about money less
  • Keep up to date with this blog more
  • Send more cards (getting post makes me happy)
  • VIDEO MORE TO MAKE ONE AT THE END OF THE YEAR OF EVERYTHING WE DID IN 2016, - I think this is such a good idea to look back on in a few years.
I don't really know what else to write about so I'll leave it here I'm sure you're getting bored of reading this now anyway.

Love and miss you so so so so much

Georgia xx

Ps: the title means new beginnings in spanish, you should know that because you did that at school, I put it because Spain is one of the places we're seeing Justin

New Year, New Posts?

Dear Chummy,

Having both said that we miss keeping this blog up to date I have taken the responsibility of writing the first post. The first post in 7 months; the first post of the new year. I'm not going to bother with a catch up post, I'm not going to focus on the past. Instead I want to focus on the future because that's what gives me hope and I have high hopes for the next year. I want to actually sort my life out ya know (said every person ever), put effort in with my degree rather than pretend it doesn't exist, save money, sort out my love life and eat properly. I feel like 2016 is going to be the year that I actually grow up. I think it needs to be. I need to be happy. We have a few plans for the next year, and even though you don't seem excited yet, they're going to be great - and we're going to have more.

The most exciting plan is hands down going to be the Purpose Tour. I honestly can't wait to stand in that crowd in front of my idol, with my bestest friend. I can't wait to be singing our hearts out to songs that have helped me throughout basically all of my teen years, so cliche. Tour is going to be so much fun, posters and fairy lights. Imagine if we met him. After all this time. I say that like we haven't met him before but sometimes I don't really count that.

I can't wait to see some new cities with you. I've been looking into Madrid and there's mountains not far from the city and we can go on hikes, and it's a really historic city with heaps to do. I'm also thinking because it's still 11 months away, plenty of time to save money (don't worry just yet, and I got u anyway because I'm only excited about this because you're coming), Madrid is only £6 coach from Barcelona so it will be so easy to go there too for a couple of days - I mean we might as well. We can go to beaches too and definitely Justin's other spanish show ;). Oslo will be just as incredible, I'm excited to go in February so I can explore a bit and figure out where we need to stay and exciting things we can do - I bet there is some amazing hiking routes there too! And we can go sledging as well in knee deep snow and take LOADS of photos.

Here is a really good website I've found that looks useful: http://www.eurocheapo.com/blog/category/spain/madrid - this is the link for madrid, but they have stuff on other countries too.

I've decided that this year I actually do really want to get the purpose tattoo. 2015 was a tough year for me, and if all goes to plan I can turn that around this year, put things right, find my purpose. On top of this I have always wanted to get a Justin related tattoo, a subtle one, and this seems perfect. I think I'll get it when we see him in Oslo, fitting.

I'm 21 this year. Scary. I don't really know what to say about that so I'm just going to end it here. Dramatic.

Love and miss you more than anything.
Chelsea xx

Keepin' it Listy

Dear Chummy,

So I've been slacking, like really slacking, and this post is gunna be rubbish (note from the end: maybe not, I kinda like it) but I thought I best post something to fill the dry spell before I get back into it next week - which I will, I promise. I have so much I want to write about but we'll keep it listy.

A few years ago, maybe year nine, I got a little notebook and I started writing a bucket list in it. I still have that notebook and I still cross things off and add things in, so I thought I'd share some of the things I have done and things I still want to do. ok? good

So the first two goals on my list are:

  • Get up at a set time everyday. - ok so we all know this still isn't happening, maybe i'll work on it. It's nice to see what was most important to younger me.
  • Meet Justin Bieber. - now this one did happen. turns out it is actually easier to meet the world's most famous than it is to have a regular sleeping pattern.

If I turn over the page and pick the top two again, we have:

  • Be happy. - pretty generic goal here, everyone's aim in life I suppose.
  • Go surfing. - this is a nice one, I'd still like to do that but actually learn and do it properly, how rad would that be!

A few random ones from the rest of the many pages:

  • Attend a film premiere. - well we did this one together, that was a really long day but I deffo wanna do it again, Mockingjay Part 2? Next Avengers? Anything Potter themed? Please?
  • Make a list of 100 books.. read them all. - still yet to do this one. why? you ask, i don't know. It's kinda tough isn't it? I could've done it by now though I suppose.
  • Meet twitter followers. - this makes me sound like I thought I was famous haha! I met Kitty I guess, I can't remember who else, you're better at this one than me.
  • Climb The Eiffel Tower. - can we do this? It'd be oh so romantic.
  • Drive a car. - another generic goal. Been there, done that, will probably do it again.
  • Swim with dolphins. - younger me was probably scared from that time my dad took me to florida and everyone swam with the dolphins except for me because they didn't buy me a ticket - if he won't take me, i'll do it my damn self.
  • Learn about Stars. - well I couldn't have fulfilled this one any more, I'm doing a physics degree after all.
  • Throw out all of my underwear and start again. - this one fills me with excitement and anxiety, how great would it be to be able to do this, but all of my underwear? Are you sure younger me? What about my favourite bra? and ya know, those pairs that you save for that time of the month just in case?
  • Be in a TV show audience. - I've ticked this one, counting This is Justin Bieber but really it'd be nice to be in an actual sitcom style show audience, ay.
  • Florida with Georgia. - I am determined to make this one happen, I'm so excited it's unreal.
  • Be inspired. - this is a silly one, most things I do are because someone inspired me but I guess I mean more deeply. Be inspired to change the world or at least make a difference.
  • Inspire. - this is on there too, and that's nice. It's also less silly, it'd be nice to be someone somebody looked up to.
  • Travel the World. - this was in a few more words in the book, naming places I want to go to but specifics are unimportant for this goal, I want to learn about so many different places and cultures and maybe learn some new languages. That'd be a dream.

I've already mentioned meeting Justin Bieber but there's a whole bunch of goals in this book dedicated to meeting some celebrity or another, these include:

  • Justin, obvs
  • Mcfly
  • The Wanted
  • Ed Sheeran
  • Hunger Games Cast
  • The Kooks
  • Taylor Swift
and you know what? I've ticked them all apart from Taylor and our chances of getting that tick are sky high, we got this.

This list was humbling, I mean younger me was ambitious but in hindsight, everything was realistic. Everything on the list is achievable. Yes maybe at fourteen/fifteen years old there were a lot of restrictions but I'm older now and I could do anything from this list that I wanted to, if I set my mind to it. Also, ambitious as I might have been, it's nice to see that I thought things like 'brush teeth twice daily' 'buy vogue' and 'dye my hair' deserved a place on the list of things to do before I die.
What's also nice is that most of the thing's I've actually ticked off, I've done with you and those I haven't ticked off I want to tick off with you.

In my head this was going to be a short post, but I really got into it - it was fun to write, and I'm putting off revision haha.

Hope you enjoy this.

In a while, crocodile.

Looks like its just me

Dear Chummy,

Bro where the Jesus lord are your posts? Have you forgotten about me? This is so sad. Anyway weekly update: I lost my job, it wasn't to do with the felt things from my last post though its all good and since then I haven't really left my room nor have I showered, pretty gross however about a week later I am feeling better and I'm now in Oxford because I haven't been here since January so I'm going to visit everybody while I'm here. Busy week but it will keep my mind off things.

So Jess and I have bought the feathers and stuff for our tour costumes although we have recently decided that we need more sparkles which I definitely agree with. We've managed to make all the head parts which was super exciting we are going to look so amazing. And I know its costing a lot but it will all be worth it, not if but when we get to meet the queen herself. (be positive)! Seeing all the swifties costumes from the Tokyo show was so amazing but scary I feel like we need to up our game, they are so creative. I wish you were there with us, we even went to subway, I mean thats our thing (I did manage to order what I wanted though are you proud?)

HAVE YOU SEEN VIDEOS AND PHOTOS FROM THE TOUR… OHHHHH MY GODDD! I HAVE NO CHILL LIKE SERIOUSLY ALL CHILL I HAD IS GONE, SO FAR GONE THAT IT WONT BE RETURNING, LIKE EVER! WE! ARE! SEEING! NEW! ROMANTICS! LIVE! I REPEAT WE! ARE! SEEING! NEW! ROMANTICS! LIVE!

I JUST CANT. LIKE OMG THIS WILL BE US SO SOON ITS UNBELIEVABLE. YASSS!

Ok chill isn't found but I'm currently watching Harry Potter and eating chocolate fingers to calm me down. They are soooooo tiny in the first movie omg my feels! You've got dirt on your nose by the way, did you know? My bae. Anyway i'll get back to watching them, I'm planning on watching all of the movies before I go back home :)

Love you millions.

Catch ya later
Georgia out xx

It's been a while..

Dear Chummy,

It's been about four weeks since either of us have posted anything and I am well aware it's Monday not Sunday however things are better late than never am I right ;). Ok so whats been going on since you went back home? Hmm the answer is absolutely nothing, I am back to my boring friendless life which is definitely not fun, all I have been doing is working. I am on arts and crafts now and its not going too badly I guess although I still hate it, people ask me so much stuff and I literally have no idea what planet they are from. All i've managed to do is send people the wrong way for stuff and help a lady swap some felt things so she didn't have to buy 2 packs which I would definitely be fired for if they found out so shhh. (Shit I'm scared that they have me on cctv now or something omg) We'll worry about that if it happens. Hows work for you?

I miss you so much its really sad, I literally don't know what to do with myself, I have nobody to share chocolate fingers with, nobody to go on windy bike rides with, nobody to listen to taylor with, nobody to take horrendous selfies with, nobody to fall asleep with harry potter background noise to, nobody to make fun of Leo with, and nobody to make fun summer plans with. It's horrible, come back be here.

Although I am super excited for our trip away to Cologne and Amsterdam seeing Taylor three times if we can its going to be the best trip ever with my favourite people ever. I found a few things we could do in each place if there is anything you can find to add thats cool too (suppose it gives you a post idea for next time ;))..

Cologne;

  1. See Taylor Swift (duhh)
  2. Cologne cathedral
  3. Chocolate museum
  4. Museum Ludwig
Amsterdam;
  1. See Taylor (double duhh)
  2. Van Gogh museum
  3. Bike around Vondel park
  4. Canal boat ride
  5. Kittenkabinet museum (cats)
  6. Flea markets
  7. Coffee shops
  8. Red light district
  9. Xtra cold ice bar
  10. Cool photos at the ' I Amsterdam' sighn
I am also very excited about our amazing sounding costumes for the 1989 tour! I hope we get to meet Taylor, I mean my life would honestly be made! Me and Jess are going to the shop to see about them on Saturday but i'll save that for the next post ;)

Omg!! I almost forgot, next month I'm booking T in the park! That is going to be AMAZING! jvhjsghfjdsg! The line up looks pretty good, I hope the bands I want to see don't clash that would be the worst but I'm sure it'll be ok! The whole vibe is just so fun! Yay summer plans make me so happy! (not that i have asked work for the time off yet, if they say no i'll phone in sick I have it all planned out) Get listening to peoples new albums ready for it, Das what I'm doing right now… The Wombats new album is so great, I think you'll like it! And festivals are a great opportunity for tumblry friendship photos ;) This means I need to go summer clothes shopping, not that I have money but oh well.

photo of the day:
SQUAD AF

Not really sure what else to write about tbh. If I think of something I'll put it in my notes for next week.
See you on snapchat, Oh wait my texts are working again yay group chat with my babes, speak to you there!

Love and miss you millions!

Georgia Out

xx

you've been asleep for about a week

Dear Chummy,

We're having separate conversations within the titles, its bloody fantastic, the Hannah Montana lyrics being my fave. Talking of Hannah Montana; throw back to downloading all of her albums on Jayden's dad's spotify and posting it to his Facebook *insert evil laugh* When you're here we need to make a really cheesy playlist so we can move the furniture and have a cheesy dance party, I'm looking forward to it. I would have said its my birthday in exactly a week but I'm a day late posting however as you nicely put it everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days.

Wow sounds like you've been super busy, your photos look great I love them! I want to go on long walks actually I fancy going on a hike, how about it? Work looks like so much fun, I'm glad you're enjoying it and I'm not jealous at all, ok I lied Im so jealous like unbelievably jealous I can't wait to meet your new friends and learn all the Aussie lingo. My work on the hand has been extremely boring and annoying and I hate it and all one of the managers does is moan at me ugh. Enough negativity - we don't need that!

Ok so you know how I said I had a brilliant idea for the next post, well seen as we're no longer leaving the shitty country my long list of things you'll need to remember for our trip otherwise you'll go insane has gone out the window. Not to worry *switches creative side of the brain on* While we wait for that side of my brain to wake up, friendly reminder that we seriously need to think about flights and accommodation for Amsterdam we don't want to be in this situation again now do we… Got it, its not creative but its a new and improved list;

long (or not so long) list of alternative things to do now that we're not going away;

- hiking at the lake district and take cute tumblry hiking selfies for the night.
- go to london for the day and visit the free museums
- stay in oxford (theres actually loads of free museums and stuff to do there too)
- bike rides
- coffee with jess
- re create taylor swift and friends photos (yes lets do that anyway) i.e.;

- last but not least… think of more ideas.

Did you see the photo booth Abi ( Taylor's best friend) had for her birthday? I want to do something like that but one, I don't have that many friends and two, I no longer have the trusty pink box of dressing up stuff because mice ate it, gross, they didn't eat the glasses though so if you have any funky hats and stuff bring them with you.

Since finishing Pretty Little Lairs I kinda feel lost, like I've started watching another series but I don't think anything will ever be as good as that was wow random I know but it makes me sad and I thought it was worth mentioning, do you know what I mean? I didn't cry like I did with The Vampire Dairies though haha! We'll have to find something else to watch, something so exciting and interesting that I don't want to stop watching, I love that kind of Tv.

Anyway this post is much longer than the previous ones considering I've done less in the past week than before, whatever i'll leave it here. I can't wait to see you on Thursday, if Phill picks you up in the morning you can come pick me up from work on your way back and see me doing absolutely nothing, or I'll go with Phill to pick you up when I've finished, either either (spelt the same, said differently)! See you soon yaaaaaaaaaaaaay :)

Cya later aligator.

Georgia out *peace love and war sign*
xx

What day is it??

Dear Chummy,

Like my last post, I'm starting this one by saying how busy I have been! I started work properly last week and boy was it fun! The late nights are really getting to me though, the amount of times I've legitimately completely forgotten what day of the week it is, haha. My first few shifts were also really scary, but I feel like I've picked it up really quickly! I find that it's a lot easier when it's busier.. I mean you have no time to think about what you're doing and you're just doing it, ya know? When it's quiet you start thinking shit, what if I mess this up? They're watching me! I also feel more pressured when people are shouting my name.. I get that a lot! And if it's not my name, it's Taylor Swift's name because apparently I look like her?! Cocktails are actually really fun to make.. I think I'm good at them, apart from when I get the glass stuck and bruise my hand trying to separate them! (another thing that's horrible when there are people watching me! - I'm so weak ahh). I think the best thing about where I work is definitely the people.. ah I love them so much! They say loads of cool things, in really cool accents and they're so much fun! They have so many stories to tell about places they've been and things that have happened, it makes me feel really boring! I feel like I have a little Aussie family, I literally can't wait for you to meet them :) :)

Even though I haven't worked for four nights, I've been asked if I wanna go out every single night, it's so nice aha.. I went out on Monday to this place called Mr Wolfs, I think you'd like it there. The music was so different! It was like bluesy, jazzy stuff like Elvis Presley and that Hit The Road Jack song it was so much fun.

Since the last time I posted, I went on a really nice walk with Alex and Wez, #TeamCulture. We waited for the bus for like an hour but it didn't come so we decided to walk up to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. When the bus did come, it got stuck in traffic and we overtook it walking anyway so it wasn't all bad aha. We had a few drinks at a really nice (but pricy) pub there and then got fish and chips on the way home.

The next day, I went to Nan's with Mum and Evan which was also really fun! We sang Taylor Swift in the car and had dinner in a little pub by the harbour and on Sunday we walked along The Hoe with ice cream before driving back here and having dinner out again! I love little trips away, even if it's just one night. It's so exciting, especially if it's last minute! Speaking of such things, I literally cannot wait to go away! I really hope Jess and Jasmine can come - I'll be really sad if they don't, it all seems so perfect right now. I also can't wait to get matching tattoos, they're going to be so cute.. do we need to book those? I'm hoping I can afford it (lol).
I guess with the spontaneous holiday, tattoos and the culture-filled walks, maybe I am as interesting as the people I work with?? Nah, still not close!

DUDE! Can you believe it's April already?? How quick has the last year gone!! You've been living in your house nearly a year now, that's crazy! It's not even January but I feel like I need to do a recap of all the things that have happened in the last year..

(I said I feel like it, I won't actually do it though.. gunna save that for another post!)

Before writing this post, I read this one Matt and Bro Orange. It is really long, but it's a reallly good story, I loved it! Really inspiring actually and the videos in it made me want to make some when we go away, I kinda really want to vlog but that's scary ahaha. Let's just take lots of really artsy photos that we can post on here :) We can get some printed too and put them in our travel scrapbook (that's upside down and back to front!) we could also go to the travel agents and find a brochure on wherever we end up going!

The flat is so quiet with everyone gone, but I don't really mind. There's lots of things I can do now, like singing as loud as I want, and walking round in my underwear, peeing with the door open and making as much mess as I want. Alex is back tomorrow though so I won't be able to do that :( He wants to use my room for his friends but no way, Jose! Like I probably could let him and just sleep at Walkies but it's my bed man (and he left me to tidy everything up) :((.

This is a really long post, I don't apologise.. I like how it makes up for the fact I forgot Wednesdays even exist last week and also how your posts have been short recently ahahaha.
OH! I have a really really really good idea for your birthday present (YAY) I know you're going to love it! It might even be on time, but I know it doesn't matter if it's not so no pressure on me, yipee!

I'm going to leave the post here, and like before maybe even fill in the space from last Wednesday just because I have an idea.

Cya, wouldn't wanna be ya,
Chelsea xx
