The Souper One

Dear Chummy,

I've actually thought about what I'm going to write this week! Huzzah!

So... I went home (again! shock.) and I saw WhatsHisFace as soon as I got back and that was so cute it was borderline vile. You know when something is so good it's annoying because you know it will have to stop? That's what this is and that makes me real sad. I also went to Stuart's leaving do and saw some of the people I worked with at Beckworth which was nice but Stuart was really drunk and we had to take him home which was so funny, I'll have to show you the drunk texts I received and the audio messages too! After making sure he was home, Laurel and I went to Mcdonald's with Bijou, then attempted to go out in town.... that ended in me and Bijou sitting in her car plaiting strawberry laces - what a thrilling night!! Not much happened over the weekend really, mum bought me some shoes and a skirt and I had a lazy day on Sunday.
(Soz about that first bit seeming rushed.. it was.)

This is where it gets REAL exciting:
On Monday I went to the orthodontist and now I literally cannot shut my mouth. I can't bite, or chew and I really don't know what to do (I rhymed that on purpose). Since then I've had a total of 4 different soups (and counting).
Usually I am a one-soup gal, I like tomato soup and only tomato soup. I have never ventured away from this, possibly due to my fear of chicken soup - why people would want something that looks and smells like sick is beyond me. Using this inability to chew I thought I would be a little more adventurous with my soup choices and I thought I'd review them for you in this post - how exciting!

Soup One - Broccoli and Stilton.
The Garden Deli in W'Boro. This soup was incredible, it was homemade and full of fresh ingredients. It was served in a teacup with croutons on top and a sprinkling of pepper, and was probably the best soup I have ever tasted. Period. This soup cost me absolutely nothing, even better!

Soup Two - Thai Chicken
Pret A Manger ( I just had to look out of my bedroom window to make sure I spelt that correctly). This was a substitute for my usual Tuesday Subway and although I have a fear of chicken soup it weren't that bad. But it was spicy, and had a strong hint of lemongrass - I assume? I could just taste spicy lemon. This soup was quite watery but they do donate 10p for every soup to charity so I can deal? This soup was £3.25 which was quite a lot ://

Soup Three - Broccoli and Potato
Homemade by Hal, who heard I couldn't eat and donated kindly. This was yummy too, I think broccoli soup is my new fave. Although it wasn't as nice as Soup One, a lot of love went into this so it's a winner (winner, chicken dinner) Again this soup was free.. souper!!

Soup Four - Lentil and Smoked Bacon
Covent Garden Food Co. So this one actually looked like sick when I poured it into my bowl and I gagged, but I went with it and it weren't that bad when it was cooked. It was what I expected but wasn't exceptional. It was also half price for a large carton, so only cost £1.17!

So it's only Wednesday and I have already had four different soups and I have another one in the fridge for tomorrow - yay. I'll keep you posted (get it? posted).

This post is getting so long but I feel like I have a lot more to talk about (probably should have posted last week) .. I might start another post and leave this one about the soup haha.

Yes, I'll do that.

(omg wait.. at work today we had a training thing where we had to write a question on a post-it note and then pick a question out and answer it ... my question was: 'If you were a soup, what soup would you be?'.)

Laters,
Chelsea xx
Dear Chummy,

Sorry the post is late but its totally worth the wait, I swear. Ok since my last post I have done so much and things are going so well for me. Yay!

So last wednesday I went to London (or Fundon as Taylor calls it) and I met up with my friend from twitter to see the Taylor Swift wax figure at Madame Tussauds. It was so great, when we got there we expected her to be in her own room but because she's on an extended stay she was put out with the other celebs near Beyonc é. We walked in the room and screamed and ran over to her; we literally spent 80% of our time taking photos with her. So many people walked past asking if we wanted them to take our photo, we ended up with about 50 photos. It was brilliant, so lifelike. After that we went to her hotel but she had already left for the brits so we went to McDonalds and bought chicken nuggets before I had to get the coach back. (Which I very almost missed)

- THE LEGS <3333333333

Taylor at the Brits… OH MY GOD! I didn't like her dress that much but when she performed Blank Space I think I turned gay. And I am unbelievably proud of her first Brit award, obviously the UK brings her good luck because she won 3 awards in 3 days while being her. So that gives her every excuse to buy a house over here.

Talking of Taylor Swift (as always.. ) WE'RE GOING TO SEE HER IN AMSTERDAM IN JUNE AND ITS GOING TO BE THE BEST TRIP EVER. I LITERALLY CANNOT WAIT!! I HAVE TOLD EVER SINGLE PERSON I KNOW, AND EVEN PEOPLE I DONT KNOW THAT IM GOING TO SEE HER IN SUMMER. IM MORE EXCITED THAN I WAS FOR THE FIRST TIME I SAW HER PURPLY BECAUSE IM GOING WITH YOU AND I LIKE 1989 BETTER!!

13 THINGS WE NEED TO DO WHILE IN AMSTERDAM:

1) TAKE A SHIT LOAD OF PHOTOS!
2) VISIT THE VAN GOUGH MUSEUM
3) HIRE BIKES
4) EAT SO MANY PANCAKES (THEY ARE THE BEST)
5) SEE TAYLOR SWIFT
6) FREAKING MEET TAYLOR SWIFT
7) DIE FROM THE LAST 2 THINGS
8) COME BACK ALIVE
9) GET HIGH
10) FIND FUN THINGS WE HAVEN'T DONE BEFORE
11) LEARN SOME DUTCH
12)  CANAL RIDE
13) TO BE CONTINUED...

Sunday was good, I got to see mostly everyone for Jasmine's birthday meal. Although I am very annoyed at Jade for being Jade and only paying £2 for a meal that came to £11. It's ok queen Jade we'll pay for you, we wouldn't want you to waste all your money on too many calories, even though you earn more than all of us. *thumbs up emoji* But anyway it was great catching up with Charlotte, Fay and Jasmine. I miss seeing them! But they are all fine and everything so thats always a good thing to hear. And I managed to take polaroids with Fay and Charlotte for my little collection, it looks super cute right now! And staying at yours was fun, I watched loads of TV with your nan, come dine with me is definitely funnier than it should be haha!! Ps: thanks for the hip flask its fab I am going to use it al the time for my .. uh water.

Tumblr update: I have some funny things to show you yay (don't go and check yourself its not the same, don't ruin the little thing we have ok - good)

Work has been going really well I have officially started everybody was happy to see me back so that was good, although today I didn't check the times I were working at turned up at 12 when in fact I didn't start until 4. Oops, good job mum came into the shop to buy some frames haha otherwise I would have been stuck there all day.

CONGRATS ON GETTING YOUR JOB IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! START SAVING FOR AMSTERDAM WOOOO!!! You just snapchat me saying you got it, so I thought I would congratulate you while I'm still typing the post ;)

I miss you so freaking much! Not sure when i'll see you next but I can't wait for that day! This week if I have time I'm going to find a cute card to send you just because I haven't in a while and its my turn for that! I miss doing that its cute, but so is this blog. Anyway..

Love and miss you more than you can imagine. Stay beautiful.

Georgia xoxo

Dear Chummy,

So I'm going into this post not having any idea what to write about. I haven't really done a great deal, I feel like the weeks are going really slowly but I'm not doing anything to fill them - I've probably spent far too much time in bed!

So at the weekend I went home again for my mum's birthday, which was really nice, we went out for a meal and listened to Taylor Swift a lot - that was fun, she loves 1989. I also went out Saturday night with Laurel and Ricky, we had such a good night the only way it'd have been better would've been if you had been there! We danced to Shake it Off and cried at a man dancing with his eyebrows in the club - I also managed to spend £2 only which is pretty impressive considering how much I drank!!
On Sunday, I saw my dad which was totally awkward but I also saw Probs and that wasn't awkward at all (yay) - we stayed out til gone 2am talking about anything and everything and it was real sweet - and then on Monday I had orthodontist but they had no steriliser so I have to go back again in two weeks.

Ah, I really don't know what to write about, which is exactly what I said last week - I should really start planning these posts, then I might also put them up on time!! I've sorta been moping around recently, I have no motivation to do anything it's really rubbish I think I need to make some changes. The flat is going to be so empty this weekend, it's only me, Ruta and Alex but I think Alex is going to his dad's house (shock). I guess that gives me the perfect opportunity to work on improving myself - or doing the opposite and just watching American Horror Story: Freakshow which I started last night.

So what can I improve about myself? Be honest now.

Did you see the photos of Ed after The Brits? What a mess, bless him! Fair play to him though, he deserves TO PARTAY.
(That was accidental caps but I'm gunna leave it cos it looks artsy)

I'm gunna leave da post here because it's already bad enough and it can only get worse lol, can't wait to hear about what you have planned!!

love ya,
Chelsea xx

Dear Chummy,

I didn't forget. Ok I totally forgot. We'll just shake it off. What has happened thats in any interest to you? Hm nothing really. I finished my work experience at the store and at first they didn't offer me a job but then once they let me go they realised how great I am and that they missed me too much. Well thats what I'm going to say anyway I don't know why they really gave me the job. But the main thing is I have it so thats 20 hours a week I won't be doing nothing. And two of the guys from there asked me to go out with them on saturday but after a lot of convincing from my family to go, I decided not to haha.

This week my family haven't been here and it's been so great, that is really bad to say I know but I have come to the conclusion that in fact I love not having them around. Since they have been back I've been counting down the days until they go away again, pretty sure its 4. Because Phill has booked for him and my mum to go away for the weekend somewhere, but they have no money? Anyway whatever.

What else? I've probably eaten a box of chocolate fingers a day for the past week and a half but can you really blame me at 69p a box with 20% extra free? I think not. However they don't taste like happiness without you chum.

My next post will be more exciting I promise, because I have a few things planned. I'm sorry this weeks is so rubbish, probably why I forgot to write because I had nothing exciting to write about. But lets look at it in a positive way.. short and sweet - yes lets go with that.

Oh actually something really funny happened to me today its worth a mention; Ok so I was having a solo dance party as I do because no friends, and shake it off came on and I was going all out with my crazy dancing and I flipped my hair and it got caught in my light, I got stuck and instead of helping me everybody laughed at me *rolls eyes*. Mum has a photo if you want to see it haha its one of those, 'capture it, remember it' moments.

My friend on twitter found this guy that plays the guitar and he did a version of blank space and it sounds so perfect I want to marry it which is impossible because you can't marry music. I gave the notes to Andrew to learn so he can teach me to play it. Check this guy out, so talented https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KErJzeGORhg he has more as well.

Sarah is back from Thailand, this makes me so happy because we can FaceTime again. I miss her so much, I can't wait to see her again soon! It's so hard not being able to see her whenever, like you with Evan. A little appreciation to siblings (the cute ones, not Leo or Rosie)

I look super ginger in the first one. 'GINGER HAIR, DONT CARE' - Quote of the day.

I'll end it here, I love and miss you millions and trillions. See you soon.

Cake, Everybody Loves Cake (except for you)

Dear Chummy,

So we both missed a week, (or two in my case, because I'm useless) but that's okay because nobody's perfect, you live and you learn it. Also, I did send you a card in the real life post so that counts aaaand I had nothing new to write about - I'm going to go back in time and post a photo of your card just so it looks like I posted.. cheeky right?

I loved having you here in Bristol, my room feels so empty and definitely a little messier. I'm so proud of us for getting through season five and watching so many films but also for going out so much too, it was definitely a busy week! Since you've been gone life's been a bit rubbish really. I've found myself just getting through the week so I can go home at the weekends, I don't really know what to do next week because I won't be going home for a while.. I miss my mum and Evan a lot, I really like seeing Laurel and Bijou and this week I'm looking forward to seeing 'probs' (a nickname that Hal has coined for a certain somebody at home). OH! One thing that happened since you left is we finally found a house! And it's perfect! Look at the cuteness!!

I'm so happy your work experience is going well, I really hope they keep you on! I have a phone interview tomorrow, I'm so nervous! I don't even know how to do this but I need the job so bad!

As you definitely know, because I've posted it everywhere, me and Elle made Hal the best birthday cake ever today. We started at 11am this morning, made a LOT of mess with icing sugar and cocoa powder, and finally added the finishing touched about two and a half hours later but it was so worth it. Look at his face:

The cake itself is obviously inspired by the cake Hagrid gives to Harry Potter for his Eleventh Birthday, and is a very chocolatey (and very delicious - yes I'm bragging) triple layered masterpiece. I don't think I have ever been so proud. If you want to make one too - probs not cos you don't like cake - the recipe we used was this one.. Harry's Cake but we changed a couple of things, like using butter instead of oil. Mmmmm so tasty.

I don't really know what else to talk about, because I don't wanna talk about my crappy exam results lol, here's a list of random things that probably don't deserve a mention:

  • I've gone against the rules and lit a candle in my room, it smells so good! It's called Midsummer's Night and it's from Yankee Candle. It's my favourite.
  • I'm listening to 5 Seconds of Summer's album.
  • I need to buy my mum a frame for her birthday but I have no idea where from.
  • I bought an Illamasqua nail varnish for £3.99 instead of £14.50 today.
  • I just took a break from writing this to paint my nails with said nail varnish.
  • I only moved the Dominos box today.
  • Even then, it's just in a bin bag. Still in my room.
  • This is a real shit post, and it's late.. soz.
  • It took me 8 attempts to type soz then.
I'm gunna leave it here,

Love ya!

Dear Chummy,

What a week its been and a weird one at that. We've done so much yet nothing all at the same time, and I feel like thats pretty impressive. I really enjoyed the art museums they were really interesting and some of the paintings were beautiful; I love art. I wish I could paint like that, I need that talent. I also very much enjoyed seeing some parts of bristol that I hadn't seen before. Still not entirely sure if that train thing was real or just in my imagination, so odd haha.

Im currently listening to music and starting this post in your room while you're talking with Alex and Hal about houses I think. Wow stressful day looking around some today though, there were so many but none you could have and it started to get annoying and cold haha. But it ended with us getting pizza so thats ok. I hope you guys find one soon otherwise its another year in halls - oh how fun.

Ok heres where I stopped typing.. And started again; it's been about 2 weeks but I'm back and I remembered. I had so much fun visiting you that being home is horrible. You're not around and chocolate fingers don't taste like happiness, whats up with that? And I have nobody to have pizza with. Life just feels like one big ugh now.

But I am doing some work experience and its going really well the people there are really nice to me so hopefully i'll get the job at the end. Though yesterday somebody asked me where the tape was and I walked past it about 3 times oops, oh well I know for next time ;)!

Yesterday was valentines day - yuck. But I loved the card you sent me thank you so much it made my day even though I opened it a day early, hashtag ima rebel. After work I watched the Taylor movie duh. Oh my god did you see? Taylor invited a fan and her family to her own house to celebrate the day with her how lovely is that!!! Someday that will happen to me; I have hope. CHOCOLATE SALE THOUGH THATS SOMETHING FOR YOU TO BE HAPPY ABOUT ;)

Oh, I made a taylor valentines card thing.

My friend on twitter (@blakeitoff) is waiting for the 1989 music book and he's going to learn bad blood  and that makes me so excited I can't wait to hear that. And we can dance like the gorillas from that video to it.

What else? Hmm yeah so since I've been home I've run out of things to say because I haven't done anything. Oh actually, Jess has gone away for 2 weeks but when she's back we're going to meet up and talk about our love for taylor and yeah thats going to be cool, you need to come here and meet her as well! Maybe I'll invite her to do something for my birthday and you can meet her too!

Words aren't my thing.

Love you millions and I miss you already!

That Time I Did Something Cute

Dear Chummy,

So this post is going to be real short because I actually sent you a letter in the post, just in time for Valentine's Day. I'm cute, I know.

Love you lots,

Chelsea xx
